De.Fi: The Best Alternative to Zapper
As an investor in DeFi, keeping track of digital assets across various platforms and blockchains can be a daunting task.
Whoever owns the information owns the power.
The statement above fully describes the purpose of De.Fi — I strive to uncover and provide as much information as possible, in the DeFi and Yield Farming sphere.
Following this goal, I constantly work on making the website more useful, adding more project audits, developing tools, and overall just making the UI better.
Since the first release, I have made a long list of changes, and I thought — why not share at least the most important ones? If upon reading the article you have suggestions on what else would be important to implement, make sure to let me know. You will find links to my socials at the end of the post.
Let’s get to the review.
I added more than 70 pools & vaults of 12 popular projects to the website, so you could find various options to start yield farming there. The following projects’ pools & vaults currently can be found on De.Fi:
Since day one, adding some new UI improvements is a must. I am constantly fixing tables here and there, adding more readable graphics, and overall just trying my best to make sure you have the best time surfing the website.
Let me share some of the most recent ones:
When opening a pool, you can share it with the other user. Click on the link, and it will be automatically copied to the clipboard.
I conduct detailed audits of the projects’ smart contracts on a regular basis. I examine the code, discover projects’ potential risks, and publish the explicit reviews on the web page to inform the community. You can find the audits structured on the top website menu:
The audits tab looks a lot different now as well.
It is now more informative and clear. There is a new column “Follow Up Audit” in which, you can find updated audits and a list of resolved issues if the project admits mistakes and makes some security changes.
Just choose whatever project you’re thinking to invest in, and read a review first. An informed decision is the best decision.
There are a lot of tools for impermanent loss estimation currently on the web. But most of them are wrong in their calculations or pretty limited in terms of functionality. Therefore, in order to rectify this, I decided to make my own one. You know, if you want something to be done right, you’ve got to do it yourself. So I started its development and it will be released in the near future. A bit of patience is required.
Soon you will be welcome to play with values and decide whether it’s worth investing in a certain pool, or not.
Additional wallets have been made available to connect to a website so that you could choose whichever one you personally use. Including hardware wallets like Ledger and Trezor.
Overall, that’s it. Of course, there are always bugs I am fixing, or backend data processing that requires a lot of time (and is not seen to the naked user eye). I still have a lot of ideas which I will be implementing one by one. If you’d like to be among the first to know about updates I make, make sure to subscribe to the newsletter, or follow me on socials.
